Development
The Bishop Brossart High School Development Department was
established in 1988 to coordinate Alumni Affairs, Direct Recruiting,
Public Relations, Major Fund-raising, Capital Campaigns, and Future
Planning.
In August 2007, BBHS officials joined two other groups and submitted
an “accepted bid” to purchase nearly 56 acres of property along the
Gilbert Ridge and Breckenridge Lane areas of Alexandria. Bishop
Brossart’s portion of this purchase totals 25.5 Acres to be used for
the future development of a multi-purpose outdoor sports complex.
Presently, negotiations are continuing toward the finalization of the
purchase agreement.
