GREEN WHITE NIGHT... The Basketball season officially opens Friday, November 28th when the Annual Green White Night event is held in the BBHS Seither Center. Girls’ basketball will scrimmage from 6-7 PM followed by the Varsity Cheerleaders and the Boys Basketball about 7:15. Admission is $1.00 for students and $2.00 for adults or free if you purchase a season pass.


ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAME… BBHS is planning an alumni basketball game for former Brossart varsity players on Saturday, November 29th @ 7pm.  Cost is $10 per person to play. A reception will be held following the games. You will also receive a T-shirt for your participation. CHILI SPAGHETTI DINNER... The Fast Pitch Softball team will sponsor the 12th annual Chili Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, November 30th in Hegenauer Hall from 2-7 PM.  Admission is $9 for the all you can eat dinner which includes coffee, tea, soft drinks and desserts.  There will be several raffles, split the pots and bankers.  Come out and support the softball program.

 

FIRST FRIDAY MASSBishop Brossart High School will have First Friday Mass in the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel on the first Friday of each month when school is in session.  Our first mass will be Friday, December 5th.  Masses will begin before school at 6:45 am.  There will be a quick breakfast in Hegenauer Hall after each mass.  This is open to the entire community.  If you have questions please call 635-2108.


A CROONER CHRISTMAS... BBHS basketball announcer Todd Schafer presents "A Crooner Cristmas IX" at the Alexandria Community Center on Sunday, December 7th from 3-5p.m.  Todd will be joined by special guests Todd Whitford and Jerry Moore and a special surprise vocal guest.  Admission is free with donations accepted.   FLYER


INTERNATIONAL NATIVITY DISPLAY... Nativity sets from around the world will be on display at Bishop Brossart High School.  The display will feature Nativity sets that were made in over 50 different countries.  The display is free and open to the public December 7th, 14th and 21st from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.  Enter at the new main entrance to Bishop Brossart High School.  For more information please call the school office at 635-2108.


CHRISTMAS CONCERT... Join us for a night of great music and fellowship at our annual Christmas Concert held on Thursday, December 11th beginning at 7:00 PM in the Munninghoff Family Performing Arts Center. students from the Chamber Choir and Instrumental Music Classes will be featured. Admission is one canned good or non-perishable item to benefit our friends at Be Concerned.  FLYER


DIOCESAN PLACEMENT EXAM…  The Diocesan Placement Exam for incoming freshmen will be held Saturday, DECEMBER 13th from 9:00 a.m. – 12 Noon in Hegenauer Hall.  A $20.00 registration fee is required. Results of the test serve as the basis for the seven academic merit scholarships to be awarded by BBHS.  VERY IMPORTANT NOTE…Current diocesan guidelines encourage students to take the exam at any high school they wish.  But, they will only be eligible for the academic scholarships from the school where the test was taken.  For information please call the BBHS main office at 859-635-2108.


MARCH FOR LIFE... Join BBHS for the March For Life in Washington DC on January 21-25, 2015.  The trip includes our Diocesan mass, the march, and sight seeing.  The $350 includes bus, hotel, breakfast and tips.  To attend or to sponsor ateen contact Donna Heim at dheim@bishopbrossart.org.  Adults 18 and over must be in compliance with Virtus.
