30 Year Tradition Continues

The Boys Cross Country team had a great performance at the Regional meet on Saturday, October 26, carrying on a 30-year tradition by qualifying for the state meet. They ran courageously through torrential rain and muddy conditions.

Super sophomore Ryan Branch led the way for the team finishing in 5th place, the highest finish for a sophomore at BBHS in the last 7 years. Despite falling several times Ryan continued to get up and got the job done. Amazing 8th-grade runner Nate Ruth finished in 12th place. Senior Carter Bain ran his best race of the season finishing in 19th place. Rounding out the top 5 Brossart runners were sophomore Parker Losure and junior Andrew Alwell who sealed the team's state appearance by finishing together.

Seniors Noah Smith and Luke Verst continued to improve their times from earlier in the season.

Overall an excellent performance in less than desirable conditions. Run well at State!
