Some of our 9th and 10th graders were in action over the weekend at the JV Challenge held at Scott High School.

In Quick Recall action, Hannah Phirman was our captain and leading scorer, including scoring 9 of our 12 points in a big win over Simon Kenton. We went 2-1 in pool play, also defeating Calvary Christian, before falling in the first single elimination medal round to Scott, who played a great match. James Snodgrass also emerged as our second leading scorer, playing the best he's ever played.

We also had 5 individual medals in written competition, all of which helped us finish in 5th place overall.
They are:
Andrew Paulin: 6th place in Arts and Humanities
Hannah Phirman: 6th place in Science
Abby Cook: 4th place in Social Studies and 4th place in Composition
Michelle Goderwis was the Composition Champion! Congrats Michelle!

We would also like to thank our officials: Mrs. Lester and Jay Futscher who gave up their Saturdays for us. We couldn't compete without you! Thanks and congratulations to all of our participants!
