Girls Cross Country Misses 1st Place by 1 Point

On Saturday, September 25 the Girls' Cross Country team placed 2nd at the Diocese of Covington Invitational, missing out on 1st place by 1 point. Claire Curtsinger dominated the race as she won by 56 seconds. Amy Klocke was 3rd, Natalie Reis - 8th, Emma Bezold - 15th, Cate Reis - 16th,  Cora Bertsch - 24th, Sarah Smith - 27th Miranda Csordas - 38th, and Chloe Hein - 40th. Nice job, ladies!

Academic Team Starts Season with a Win

The Varsity Academic Team played its first match of the season on Monday, September 20 at Villa Madonna. In a closely contested match that saw six ties and 4 lead changes, our Mustangs fell 25-21. Michael Tomes led the scoring with 8 points and Logan Rauen buzzed in for four points. The JV played an abbreviated match that was also closely contested. The Mustangs scored and broke the tie on the final question of the match to win by 1 point! Way to go Mustangs!

Boys XC Wins at Campbell County Championship

Congratulations to the Boys XC Team who teamed up with the Girls XC team for a decisive victory in the Campbell County Championships on Tuesday, September 21. The trio of Branch, Ruth, and Losure continued to be at the top of every race. They finished 3-4-5 and were followed by freshman Griffin Hill who ran a great race and finished 12th. Girls Cross County wins Campbell County Championships

On Tuesday, September 21 the Girls Cross Country team won the Campbell County Championships defeating both Highlands and Campbell County. In a uniquely scored meet, the girls team along with the boys team combined to win the Campbell County Championships as well. Claire Curtsinger placed 2nd as she set a new PR breaking 19 minutes for the first time in her career. Girls Golf Division II Runners-up

The girls golf team finished Division II Runners-up at the NKAC Tournament on Monday, September 20 at Kenton County Pioneer Golf Course.  The team's 403 wasn't enough to edge out Highlands and repeat as conference champions again this year, but it was enough to top Beechwood and St. Henry who finished 3rd and 4th respectively.  Freshman Emma Laker finished third individually with an 85 and Senior Belle Ritter turned in a solid 93.  Congratulations girls a

Lady Stangs Golf Team Best the Lady Camels

The girls golf team took down the Lady Camels on Monday, September 13 at AJ Jolly by a score of 182-202. Emma Laker was low scorer with a 41.  Congrats to Makenzie Code who shot a career low 46. The  girls play their final match of the season against Highlands as they celebrate Belle Ritter and Anna Scharf on Senior Night this Friday, September 17 at AJ Jolly. Lady Stangs Soccer Wins Seeding Match

The Lady Stangs came out on top vs Scott in a District Seeding match on Monday, September 13 at the MAC  6-1. The Senior Lady Stang players. were also celebrated. Goals were scored by Jill Planeaux, Ally Smith, Sophie Neufelder and a hat-trick by Emma Sandfoss. Great win girls.

Lady Stang Volleyball Teams Defeat Lady Green Devils

All Lady 'Stang volleyball teams were victorious against the Dayton Lady Devils last night. Freshmen won 21-19, 22-20 and JV won in 3 sets. Varsity won 25-16 and 25-17 with Kate Neltner leading the way with 6 kills while Corrine Blackburn had 5. Savannah Seiter had 13 assists  Nice job girls. The Lady Stangs return to action at Bracken County on Thursday, September 16 before heading to All A State at Eastern Kentucky University this weekend.

All A Girls Golf Tournament

The girls golf team finished 6th at the All A Classic state tournament in Richmond on Saturday, September 11. The team shot 407, which missed 5th place by just one stroke. Emma Laker led the team with a 91 and Belle Ritter shot a 93. Nice job girls! Mustang proud!
