The Girls Golf Team picked up it's second win this week with a 189-196 win over Dixie Heights High School on Wednesday, September 18. Abby Cook was the match medalist with a 37. On Tuesday, September 17 our JV team also won by a score of 202-225 over Beechwood . Bailey Ritter led the way for our Lady Stangs with a 48.  Drive on, Ladies!

Mustang Cross Country

Congratulations to Ryan Branch! He finished 1st yesterday, September 17 at the Campbell County Championships. Proving that he is the best runner in all of Campbell County! Branch ran a terrific time of 17:30 easily out-kicking the 2nd place runner. Nate Ruth, Andrew Alwell, Luke Verst, and Noah Smith filled out our scoring five with solid races.

On Tuesday, September 17 the Girls Cross Country Team won the Campbell County Championship. They defeated Campbell County, Highlands, Newport Central Catholic and Dayton. The Lady Stangs had 4 runners place in the top 10 to win awards. They were Amy Klocke, Clair Curtsinger, Maria Klocke and Natalie Reis. Way to run Lady Stangs!

Varsity Volleyball

On Tuesday, September 17 the Lady Stangs Varsity Volleyball team picked up a big regional win against Harrison County in 3 straight sets.  Lauren Heck had 13 kills, 19 digs and 3 aces. Marie Kiefer had 21 kills and 14 digs. Raele Ruschman had 9 digs and 34 assists. A very solid effort by the girls! The next home game is Tuesday, September 24 against Newport Central Catholic. It is our Hits for Chicks game! See you there!

Girls Golf Wins

The girls golf team was in action on Monday, September 16 at Highland Country Club. They competed against the Highlands Bluebirds. Belle Ritter was welcomed back to the Lady Stang lineup. Abby Cook led the way with a 38 as our team pulled out the win by a score of 197-216 Congratulations Ladies!

Lady Stangs Volleyball

Tuesday, September 10, 2019

The Varsity Volleyball secured the win last night, Monday, September 9 against Dayton High School. They won all 3 sets 25-16, 27-25 and 25-19. Marie Kiefer had 14 kills and 6 aces. Lauren Heck had 10 kills and Raele Ruschman had 6 kills and 22 assists.  The Lady Stangs return to action Tuesday, September 10 at home against Conner  High School. Games are at 6 and 7 pm.

On Thursday, September 5 the JV Volleyball team suffered a tough loss in 3 games to Calvary Christian. Kylie Sansom led the team with 6 kills and Mary Holtz had 3 aces. The Varsity Volleyball team moved to a 6-1 record with a win over rival Calvary Christian in 4 sets. Leading the team was Marie Kiefer with 15 kills, followed closed by Lauren Heck with 12 kills. Boys Soccer

The Varsity Boys Soccer Team beat Scott in a tough district match-up on Thursday, September 5. The Mustangs won 1-0. The lone goal was scored by Tyler Malay with and assist by Brian Paulin. Andrew Paulin recorded the shutout. The JV team tied Scott 2-2. Goals were scored by Landon Bain and Landon Guidugli. Assist by Luke Piscetello. Great job Mustangs!

Girls Golf Team

The girls golf team was in action this past weekend in Richmond at the All A State Golf Tournament. Missing two scorers from our Regional Championship Team allowed a couple of other team members to enjoy the experience. The Lady Stangs placed 7th as a team led by Abby Cook with an 83. It was Morgan Burkhardt's first 18 hole tournament and Makenzie Code shot her personal best. The girls are in action on Monday, September 9 at Hickory Sticks as they host the Cooper Jaguars.
