Sarah Smith 2001
Track – Sarah was a key sprinter on teams that won four straight state championships…. 14 appearances at the state meet, no Brossart athlete has more…. An All State runner in relays all four years…. Part of outstanding 4X200 and 4 X400 relays that set school records…. Also had school records in two medley relays and the Indoor 4X400 relay…. School record holder in the indoor 400…. Sarah was the team’s CO MVR in 2000 and 2001…. won team’s “Best sprinter” award in 1999.

Upon Graduation – Sarah was fourth in career points with 636…. Career best times in the 100 – 12.8 and 200 – 26.4 rank her second on the Brossart Honor Roll only behind Shannon Horan….Sarah’s best 400 – 1:00.2 ranked her third on the Honor Roll.
